Two film enthusiasts, frustrated by the growing lack of meaningful online interactions, transformed the gallery a space where visitors can truly engage with video art or listen to an entire album without distraction, inspired by their romanticized memories of old video rental stores.

My Black is… (2025), in collaboration with the IMANI program and Black Student Engagement, is a vibrant gallery celebrating the journeys of Black students, staff, and alumni at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) through photos.

Life is always full of changes and varied experiences, yet there are some that shift one’s life significantly and permanently reshape their perspectives. Gallery 1265, alongside with ACMSA, invite visitors to Shift (2025) where artists reflect on their own life-changing personal experiences and translate them into various artistic practices.

In collaboration with CAPTURE, we present an exhibition by student photographers that reveals personal stories, offering a look at how each artist views and interprets their surroundings.

The Multicultural Photography Exhibition features students from multicultural student associations at UTSC as they share glimpses into their cultural backgrounds.
