Submissions are now open for our HYBRIDITY themed exhibition!
The link to the google form I’m in our below!
Hybridity, the mixture of two or more entities, is a term that can relate across a wide range of disciplines, such as biology, history, sociology, and art. The term can be associated with physical material, visual style, race, culture, language, and anything you can think of. Artists can investigate the nature of hybridity through not only the theme or the concept behind their artworks, but also through their stylistic choices, medium and presentation. Hybridity can be interrogated through discussions within the term itself, or also through establishing a juxtaposition with its opposite or other related terms. The possibility is endless.
We encourage our talented artists to unleash their creativity, and explore the possible ways of engaging the concept of hybridity to create a dialogue with the theme, the artworks, the viewers, and other artists.
This submission form is for UTSC students interested in showcasing their artwork in Gallery 1265. Everyone is welcome to apply and submit their work.
Successful applicants will be contacted by email!
