Diminutive Hues, 隐微阅象 (2024) is a duo exhibition by Arthur Cui and Molly Wang at Gallery 1265 that runs between November 06 to November 20, 2024.

The exhibition mainly draws attention to the often-overlooked details of everyday life, bringing these subtle moments from the background into clear focus. Using a variety of mediums and expressive techniques, the artists highlight elements of shared experience that usually sit just beyond notice, lingering at the edges of perception.

It is also a meditation on how we balance observing life with truly experiencing it. Instead of staying on the surface, the artworks dives into layers of life that are often unnoticed or taken for granted. They invite viewers to connect with their own memories, emotions, and inner perceptions, offering a glimpse into the shared human experience that connects us all. Through this journey, the artists encourage a deeper awareness of what lies beneath the familiar, creating an experience that reaches beyond the visual and resonates with shared human presence.
