Dear Me, (2024)

As our lives gradually resettle into an increasingly busy pace in the aftermath of a pandemic, moments of self-reflection become rare and precious. Whether it’s university courses, work, relationships, or other social commitments, we are all on journeys with goals to achieve.

Our fourth annual themed exhibition, Dear Me, (2024), is a multi-media art exhibition that encourages a moment of reflection on where we are in our individual journeys. Oftentimes, we are so caught up with keeping ourselves busy that we overlook how far we’ve come. The artworks on display are deeply reflective of the personal narratives that unfolded after the pandemic.

In this space, artists invite viewers to witness the emotional tapestry woven by the human experience—threads of sorrow, hope, and renewal. Through a variety of art mediums and styles, this exhibition invites students to communicate messages they wish to give their past, present, or future selves.

Featuring artworks by Josepth Donato, Jason Luo, Erin Lam, Cindy Nguyen (Cozino), Yebin Song, Minah Cap, Jemima Erin Eclipse Miranda, Kiki Zhou, Chanelle Mendes, Shuo Yan and T.M. Ahmed.

This exhibition is made possible by the IDEAS grant.

Opened from January 15 to 26, 2024
