Public Art (2022)

with Rika Nakane and Chloe Kouyoumdjian

Gallery 1265 pushes the limits once again this year and premieres another first in our history. With the help of the ACM faculty, SCSU, and Hart House, we are pleased to announce the launch of our Public Art series.

Public Art (2022) features sculptures by Rika Nakane and Chloe Kouyoumdjian placed throughout the University of Toronto Scarborough campus in order to inspire students to stay thoughtful and creatively minded during the return to campus.

Watch an exclusive artist interview with Chloe Kouyoumdjian here.

Kouyoumdjian’s Jasper was displayed in the Meeting Place and Nakane’s Holding was displayed in the Student Centre through March 2022.

The Public Art series has generously been funded by Hart House.
